Dental Services for North Lauderdale Patients

Everything below happens in one office, so a problem found at your exam does not turn into a referral across town. For a close-by patient, the routine work is the part that matters most:

You can see the full list on our services page.

Why a Short Drive Matters

North Lauderdale is the closest of the cities on our service list. McNab Road runs from the middle of North Lauderdale almost to our door, so a visit does not need a half-day plan.

That changes what is realistic. A cleaning, a quick recheck after treatment or a same-day visit for a sore tooth fits into a morning before work or around midday, and you are not trading a whole afternoon for a 30-minute appointment.

  • Short trips for routine care: about 8 to 15 minutes depending on traffic, no highway and no toll
  • Transparent pricing: you get the cost in writing before treatment starts
  • Same-day appointments five days a week for urgent problems
  • English and Spanish spoken at the front desk and in the chair
  • Comfort-first care, including sedation options for patients with dental anxiety

Getting Here From North Lauderdale

North Lauderdale borders Tamarac to the east, and McNab Road is the road that ties the two together. It crosses Tamarac in a nearly straight line, so there is not much to remember.

  1. Get to McNab Road. From North Lauderdale City Hall and the middle of the city, take SW 71st Avenue south to McNab Road, about a mile. If you start near State Road 7 (US-441), McNab Road is the cross street to look for, and you head west on it.
  2. Go west on McNab Road for about 2 miles from SW 71st Avenue, until you reach University Drive (State Road 817).
  3. Turn left (south) onto University Drive. Our office at 6510 N University Dr is less than half a mile ahead, just south of the McNab Road intersection, with parking at the door.

From City Hall that is roughly 3.5 miles, or about 8 to 15 minutes depending on traffic. If McNab Road is backed up, Commercial Boulevard, the next big road to the south, also runs west to University Drive. Turn right (north) there and go about a mile and a half.

Whether you live near City Hall and Saraniero Park, around Hampton Pines Park or Caravel Park on the western side, or closer to State Road 7, the route is the same. We serve patients across the 33068 ZIP code, along with the rest of Broward County. The office is at 6510 N University Dr, Tamarac, FL 33321, with parking at the door.

Costs and Insurance

We work with most major PPO plans, and we check your benefits before treatment so you know what your plan covers. Where we are out of network we can usually still file the claim so you receive your benefit. Call (954) 322-3865 with your plan name, or bring your insurance card to your visit.

If you have no dental insurance, or a plan that will not cover everything, you can spread the cost of treatment with monthly financing through CareCredit, Sunbit, Cherry or Alphaeon, subject to approval.

The details are on our page about paying for dental care with and without insurance, and current promotions are on the offers page.

Your First Visit for $65

If it has been a while, do not start by asking what a crown costs. Start by finding out what you actually need.

Our new patient offer covers a full check-up of your teeth and gums, digital X-rays and a basic cleaning for $65, plus a free Smile Design consultation. You leave knowing what is urgent, what can safely wait, and what each step will cost in writing before you commit to anything. Plan on about an hour.

Worth knowing: the $65 visit is for new patients with healthy gums, and it cannot be combined with dental insurance or other offers. If you have a PPO plan, call first and we will check your benefits, so you can choose whichever is the better deal for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which road is the fastest way from North Lauderdale to your office?

McNab Road. Head west on McNab Road until you reach University Drive, then turn left (south). Our office at 6510 N University Dr is less than half a mile from that corner. From North Lauderdale City Hall it is roughly 3.5 miles, and Commercial Boulevard to the south is the backup if McNab Road is slow.

Can I fit a visit in before work or on a lunch hour?

Often, yes. We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and from North Lauderdale the drive is about 8 to 15 minutes depending on traffic. A first visit takes about an hour, so a first-of-the-day slot is the easiest one to plan around. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. Call (954) 322-3865 and ask for the earliest opening that suits you.

Can I use the $65 visit if I have dental insurance?

No. The $65 new patient visit is for patients with healthy gums and cannot be combined with dental insurance or other offers. It is one or the other. If you have a PPO plan, we can check your benefits first so you can pick the better option.

What should I do if I have a toothache or a broken tooth?

Call (954) 322-3865 as early in the day as you can and tell us what is happening. We hold same-day appointments five days a week for urgent problems, and our emergency dentist page explains what to expect. If you have swelling that spreads to your face or neck, or trouble breathing or swallowing, go to an emergency room first.

I only need a cleaning. Is that a big appointment?

No. A routine visit is an exam, digital X-rays and a cleaning, and a first visit takes about an hour. One thing to know: if your exam shows gum disease, a basic cleaning is not the right treatment, and we will explain what is. See our teeth cleaning page for what a visit includes.

Can I pay for a bigger treatment plan over time?

In most cases, yes. You get the cost of each step in writing after your exam, urgent work is scheduled first, and monthly financing through CareCredit, Sunbit, Cherry or Alphaeon can spread the rest, subject to approval. Each lender sets its own terms, so we cannot promise a rate or a monthly payment.
