Full denture
Replaces every tooth on the upper or lower jaw. The upper one holds by suction against the palate. The lower one moves more, because the tongue pushes on it and there is less to rest on.

Exam, digital X-rays and a basic cleaning. New patients with healthy gums.

Missing teeth make it harder to eat, talk and smile. We make full and partial dentures and also work with implants, so at your consultation we can compare every option for your mouth, and you see the cost in writing before you start.

A full denture replaces all the teeth on the upper or lower jaw. A partial denture fills the gaps when you still have healthy teeth and attaches to them. An implant-supported denture snaps onto two or more dental implants, so it moves much less. A fixed arch on implants, such as All-on-4, is a different option: it stays in and doesn't come out at home. Your exam, your X-rays and how much bone you have decide which one fits.

Dentures replace missing teeth with a removable set that rests on your gums or attaches to your remaining teeth or to implants. They cost less up front than implants and need no surgery, which is why many people start there.
Over the years the gums and bone under a denture change, and a fit that was good can loosen. Relines and adjustments keep it comfortable, and some people later move to implants for more stability.
Signs your denture needs attention
It usually takes several visits over a few weeks.
We check your remaining teeth, gums and bone and go over your options. You see the plan and the cost before anything starts.
We take impressions of your mouth and record your bite. If any teeth need to come out first, the plan says when.
You see the shape and shade of the teeth before the denture is finished, and we change what you want changed.
You get your denture and care instructions, then come back over the next weeks for adjustments.
Your exam and X-rays decide. Here is how they differ.
Replaces every tooth on the upper or lower jaw. The upper one holds by suction against the palate. The lower one moves more, because the tongue pushes on it and there is less to rest on.
Fills the gaps and attaches to your healthy teeth with clasps or attachments. It also helps keep the teeth beside a gap from drifting into it.
Attaches to two or more dental implants, so it moves much less than a regular denture, most of all on the bottom. You still take it out to clean it. It needs enough bone, and a graft can help when there isn't.
A full arch of teeth screwed onto four implants. You clean it in your mouth and it doesn't come out at home. It is the most stable option and the largest investment.
The price depends on the type of denture, how many teeth it replaces and whether any teeth have to come out first. That is why it comes after your exam, when you see the options and the full cost in writing.
We accept most major PPO plans and check your benefits before treatment. Some plans cover part of a denture, up to your yearly maximum, and many plans reset that maximum on January 1.
Brush them with a soft brush and a denture cleaner, not regular toothpaste, which scratches. Rinse after meals, and brush your gums, tongue and any natural teeth too.
Take them out to sleep unless your dentist tells you otherwise, and keep them in water or denture solution so they don't dry out. Skip hot water and bleach.
Clean them over a towel or a sink of water in case they drop. Never file down a sore spot yourself. Come in for an adjustment.
A full denture replaces every tooth on the upper or lower jaw. A partial denture fills gaps when you still have healthy teeth and attaches to them. Which one you need depends on how many teeth you have left and how healthy they are.
Most people need a few weeks. At first a denture can feel bulky, your speech can sound different, you may make more saliva, and sore spots are common. Start with soft food in small pieces, chew on both sides at once and read aloud to practice. Sore spots are fixed at adjustment visits, so don't stop wearing it without telling us.
Gums and bone change over time, so a denture that fit well can loosen. A reline refills the side that touches your gums. If the teeth are worn or the denture is cracked, a new one may be the better fix. Many dentures last about 7 to 10 years. If yours still works but is loose, sore or stained, an exam tells you which you need.
Dentures cost less up front and need no surgery. All-on-4 stays in, is more stable, and needs surgery, enough bone and a larger investment. Typical Broward ranges run about $3,500 to $6,000 for a single implant and $18,000 to $30,000 per arch for All-on-4. These are market ranges, not a quote, and the implant cost guide has the detail. We compare both at your consultation.
Yes. If you are paying yourself, monthly financing through CareCredit, Sunbit, Cherry or Alphaeon can spread the cost, subject to approval. Each lender sets its own terms. Ask the front desk which option fits your treatment.
Often, yes. Implants need bone to hold them, and a bone graft can rebuild it when there isn't enough. An exam and X-rays show how much bone you have, and the free implant consultation shows what fits your case.
